Unlike other carbon Paddles, this Paddle does not get slippery when wet because of the special surface. The surface is not rough, no blisters, it just has high friction, like my wood Paddles. The handle is oval 31x36mm / 1,22 x 1,42″. The joint is shaped like a hexagonal tube, which is locked with a simple snap lock. An extra piece of hexagonal pipe is supplied, so that the paddle can be changed to aStorm Paddle. Separate the longest part is 94cm / 37″, regardless of the total length of the paddle. Two part paddle. The joint is made of carbon. Note that also the joint joint is oval and flush 100% with the wooden part of the handle. The joint is made with an inner hexagon, which is locked with a spring loaded knob. Simple and durable. Because of the hexagon, there is no veil in the joints over time. Produced in red and yellow cedar, with edges in Siberian larch. The paddle is composed of a total of 13 carefully adapted pieces of wood. The handle is a 32x36mm / 1,25 x 1,4” oval, 55cm / 22” wide.
